My midwife Charmaine was kind, compassionate and extremely knowledgeable about all areas of care. During a traumatic forceps delivery she instantly put me at ease, explained things to me clearly and gave me confidence. Her after care was outstanding; she instinctively knew what I needed and when and it was clear that she was striving to make me feel as comfortable as possible. The labour ward is clearly very busy so to still feel well looked after here, rather than being moved to postnatal ward is testament to Charmaine. Thank you.
